Songwriters' Art

 —  —

Gallery 111, 111 Dunlop Street East, Barrie, ON

Original Tunes, Sunday Afternoons

Roy Hickling, Scott Cooper, Paul Court and Don Bray

The 2014 season features talented songwriters performing all original songs, unplugged and in the round.... and they are guitar carrying members of BaDAS/S - the Barrie and District Association of Singer Songwriters!

Don Bray is a fantastic writer, player and performer. His soulful songs don’t shy away from difficult subjects and his masterful slide and guitar playing will have you dancing in your chair (if not the aisles).

Scott Cooper is a busy working musician who promotes his music and also uses his talents to promote children’s literacy in local schools. His songs are clever and warm, catchy and humorous, with extra-smooth vocals.

Paul Court is a talented Orillia singer songwriter whose songs are clever, moving and often a poignant blend of both. He spends a lot of his time and energy teaching songwriting, mentoring and remaining active in folk music circles, often with organizations that he co-founded. Join us and listen closely.

Roy Hickling is a mixed-media artist, farmer and singer songwriter - depending on the season. Roy's well-written, lyric driven songs are delivered with inventive guitar and cover a wide variety of subjects.

Concert Location & Details:
Gallery 111 is at 111 Dunlop Street East, right beside the Flying Monkey Craft Brewery and there is free parking in the lot off Lakeshore Drive out back.
